At Sirumugai Rotary Trust, we are dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities. Founded in 2022, our mission is to“Provide scholarships/financial aid to deserving poor students to pursue/continue their education,” “Promote healthcare access in rural areas,”“Provide financial assistance to deserving patients who need medical treatments, operations, equipment, artificial limbs, etc.,”Provide food for the starving and needy people” etc… Guided by a commitment to integrity, compassion, and sustainable impact, and we strive to address our time’s most pressing social challenges.

Our Impact

Sirumugai Rotary Trust has positively impacted hundreds of lives through our programs over the past two years. We have:

  • Built a laboratory building valued at 1.25 million INR, contributing it to the Sirumugai Primary Health Care Centre to benefit the local community.
  • Provided educational assistance to students in the Sirumugai area.
  • Supported over 20 families in achieving sustainable livelihoods.

Our Leadership

Our trust is governed by a dedicated board of trustees and a team of professionals who share a passion for service. Meet our leadership team:

  • Ezhilvannan R., Chairman
    Proprietor of Medvann Construction, with 26 years of experience in civil engineering, including six years as a Planning Engineer in the Gulf. Chartered Secretary of the Rotary Club of Sirumugai, Charter Chairman of Sirumugai Rotary Trust, and President of the Rotary Club of Sirumugai for 2023-24.
  • Venu Shankar V., Secretary and Charter President, Rotary Sirumugai
    An engineering plastics expert with a degree from the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET), having studied in Ahmedabad and Chennai. Promoter and Proprietor of Pearl Industrials in Coimbatore, with over 30 years of experience in the design, development, and supply of plastic and metal components for the electrical and poultry industries in India and beyond. Venu is known for maintaining high business ethics while fostering innovation and quality in every project.
  • Dhinesh Kumar M., Treasurer
    Co-Founder of 5Lobes Technologies, an innovative IT company with 50% of its resources based in Sirumugai. Leveraging partnerships with enterprises across inland logistics and management consultancy firms in India and the USA. Born in Gobi and raised in Sirumugai, Dhinesh has worked in multinational corporations, gaining valuable experience across major Indian cities and traveling globally. After years of international exposure, he has returned to his hometown, blending global insights with local expertise.

Statutory Obligations

Sirumugai Rotary Trust has been approved by the Income Tax Department of India (approval no. ABHTS4005K24CH02) to carry out its objectives from 2024-25 to 2028-29. Approval under clause (ii)(b) of the second proviso to section 80G(5) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, has been granted subject to certain conditions.
